Parini srl has recently implemented the Kanban system for bolts, nuts and hardware in general.

Kanban (literally signboard or billboard in Japanese) is a scheduling system for lean manufacturing and just-in-time manufacturing. Kanban is an inventory-control system to control the supply chain. Taiichi Ohno, an industrial engineer at Toyota, developed kanban to improve manufacturing efficiency.

This investement has the main purpose of providing a better and faster service to our Customers, reducing the lead time for the most common hardware parts (bolts and nuts used in building new machinery, such as ballistic separators, hardware necessary during revamping of used parts or supply of spare parts).

This new metodology, on weekly base, allows us to avoid shortage in our storehouse, with a more punctual and efficient control on the stocks of every single item (see the below comparison between traditional method and online kanban supply).
